About Nils-Andre – Founder of travel4med & Medical Student
Hello and welcome! I’m Nils-Andre, a medical student and the founder of travel4med. Even during my own nursing internships and clinical rotations, I realized how valuable international experiences are for personal and professional development—but also how difficult it often is to organize such internships.
That’s exactly why I launched travel4med: to make it easier for medical students to explore exciting healthcare systems around the world while creating unforgettable memories.
We now accompany hundreds of students to Sri Lanka, Bali, and Nepal every year—and I’m thrilled to be part of this journey. In addition to my work behind the scenes, I also write regularly here on the blog about my own experiences, share tips on medical school, and show you what really matters when it comes to clinical rotations and internships abroad.
