Gaining insight into everyday life in a hospital in Nepal was a very special experience for me. A nursing internship on the other side of the world offers a great opportunity to gain valuable experience, take on unfamiliar challenges, and meet people with whom you share memories that will last a lifetime.

All this was made possible thanks to the excellent support provided by travel4med. The internship was tailored to my individual interests, allowing me to get to know a wide range of specialist areas. During the internship, the accommodation in Pokhara was a real highlight: with a direct view of the mountains, I was able to enjoy the beautiful surroundings to the full!  In addition to exciting medical insights, Nepal has so much more to offer: hikes through the Himalayas, exciting safari tours in Chitwan National Park, immersion in traditional yoga practice, or the discovery of a new culinary world through cooking classes. I experienced Nepal as a country that surprised me again and again with its diversity and warmth. I can only recommend a trip there, it opens up many new and unexpected perspectives.
